What Will Happen After Covid-19?

Everyone is wondering what will happen when this pandemic subsides and people go back to work and return to their routines.

From what I have been reading on social media, since the beginning of the pandemic, people all around the world are getting more conscious of the surrounding environment.

Unfortunately, this was caused by the lockdown measures that were put in place. We are more aware of where we live, of people passing by and even the animals that we don’t normally see. Hopefully, for all of us and the planet we live on, people are now aware of some changes that need to be made.

MY EXPERIENCE DURING COVID-19

I live in the city centre, near one of the main hospitals. Every morning, before going to work, I would have breakfast to the sound of cars rushing by, making it impossible to hear anything else. My family was even looking for another place to live.
I love sports, and running is one of the things I really like to do, but it’s impossible in the city. The smell of burned diesel makes it a nightmare and a health hazard.

Today, I listen to birds in the morning, and at night, we can enjoy the silence and crickets chirping. I can go out for a run around where I live.

Never done that before!

Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing but respect and sympathy for everyone who is going through a rough period due to this pandemic, but in terms of noise and pollution, these weeks have been very different for those of us who live in the city.
The news tells us that, regarding pollution worldwide, this forced stop is making a significant difference in greenhouse gas emissions!
We are getting better air quality and the planet thanks us for that!

I believe we can do better!

We can now imagine our lives without noise and pollution!

For those who have the choice, choose electric mobility, not only for your own vehicle, but all public transportation in cities.

Choose non-pollutant and noiseless.

Bring quality to our lives!

Electric mobility is the future.

This pandemic has brought a new way of seeing and hearing things. Electric mobility grew immensely in the last decade. Worldwide guidelines for climate change were the driver of this growth. Now, with all that’s going on, it’s a safe bet to believe that in the coming years there will be a boost in the demand for electric mobility.

I still hear many different questions about electric mobility, like: “why are the prices of these vehicles higher?” and “are they really environmentally friendly, even with their manufacturing taken into account?”
Are EVs just some niche tech trend that appeals to only a small percentage of the population?
Other questions are about the basics, like how to charge, how developed is the charging infrastructure, why are there different standards, what’s the difference between normal charging, fast charging and the more recent “Ultra-Fast” chargers? Some people believe they can charge as they would at a conventional fuel station, that it’s just a few minutes and you’re ready to go! This is not quite like that.

As part of the i-charging team, we are here to help both current EV users and future EV owners, as well as anyone just curious regarding the matter.

Feel free to ask us about electric mobility, we hope we can help you!
